· 2023 Cassadee Stagliano, a second-year PhD student, is recognized by the Abrams Award which recognizes the achievement of students in their first year of the PhD program (4/28/2023).
· 2022 Romie Nguyen delivered a talk at the Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) - Enzymes, Coenzymes and Metabolic Pathways (7/23/2022).
· 2022 our lab alumna Yifan Wang @UGA Chemistry received an NIH R35 Maximizing Investigators' Research (MIRA) award for early-stage investigators, totaling $1.887 million (starting on 8/01/22 for approximately five years). · 2020 Samuel Montoya, is honored by the National Science Foundation (NSF). He is on the 2020 Honorable Mention List in the federal agency's Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). What a great way to start his doctoral program!
